Started out with the formula kit and discovered that the footstraps were adjusted to bare feet sailing, not boots. After some adjusting it worked out better. The wind started to pick up and after 30 minutes I resorted to my smaller gear. When the formula kit gets overpowered it's perfect to get the FreeWave and a 6.2, hopefully a 6.3 HSM SuperFreak soon.
An hour of blasting and gybing was a perfect start to the spring season. The FreeWave is a perfect match to the 6.2, just like Craig Gertenbach testified. I've been a little afraid that the FW would a be tad small for the 6.2. Now I can breath out with a sigh of relief. It worked great, I just need one bigger fin, 27-29 cm.
Andreas J and Anders R joined in when I brought out my smaller gear and we all had a nice session.
May there be more wind soon... next friday looks promising.
