At last

September has been totally flat. Except for the two days sailing when I was sick at home.
I was a bit afraid I'd miss out on todays first autumn storm, the remnants of hurricane Ike. I had to work from eight to one o'clock.
Everything worked out great.
Three hours of solid sailing, a bit gusty as usual though.
My port tack loops are working good now. Didn't want to try the starboard ones today since it's been a month with no sailing.
LinSurf windsurfing Club had it's club championship in the form of a long distance slalom race. Good wind. At least until the start. The wind was as gustiest during the race. The whole fleet was schlogging, except a visitor on cambered NP 5.8 and a F2 Sputnik who went away like a rocket. After a while I managed to get planing, barely. I raced CG to the outer buoy (about 4 km away) and just caught up with him when we were heading back to the finish line. Before us, the visitor blew his jibe and was passed by Magnus D who won the race.
I managed to get in front of CG when he started a beautiful tail walk. Half way to the finishing line I hit a wind hole and managed to bury my nose and went over the handle bars hooked in. CG caught up with me and passed me.
No podium for me : (
