Yes! A calm day ended in pure bliss. Took it easy, ate and did som homework with my youngest son. A short ride later I arrived at Udden ("the point"). No wind to speak of. Douglas being a bit desperate, having missed the premiere session(not that he missed much though), rigged his 6.4 Duke and took his 115 l FsW board and headed out. Planing on and off. I started rigging and realized I had forgotten my extension and back home for it. When I got back it had started. I rigged my 5.5 SF and went out. I'm starting to make friends with my new line of SuperFreaks. I genuinely hate having new gear. Usually it takes me about a year of constant fine tuning before I become "one" with the new stuff. Right now it's even harder than usual - I only have traditional extensions, no NS POWER:XT's.
Those extensions are the biggest step forward since the clamp on boom!
I hope North gets their shit together and can distribute the new ones, soon...
During the evening the wind increased. Out on my new 4.7 SF and my Fanatic AllWave. Went for some speed loops. I even tried some spocks and the shove it - it felt pretty good. The water was crowded with smiles in the sunshine.
A gooood day!
